@moonspiralheart: I wasn’t trying to imply that I am separate from the rest of the overprivledged white fuckheads. Just that in this particular case I am very well aware that others are being over privledged white fuckheads over something that shouldn’t even be an issue.
When it comes down to it, I know I am an overprivledged white lady who is frequently a fuckhead. It’s why I’m happy when a PoC calls me out when I’m being racist. It’s so damned ingrained in our society that more often than not I need a PoC to call me a fuckhead and let me know in no uncertain terms what I’m doing is racist because just like every other white person I’ve been indoctrinated that “this is right and how things are supposed to be.”
