okay so now I am actually cleaning up the sewing room.
this is the costume that imploded the night before Otafest last year, and left me in a spitting rage for the whole of the day.
I still love the helmet. Even though it’s lopsided and digs into my nose and the tail fell off so it’s being held in place with some hasty wiring.
flight’s been booked for Otakon, so I guess I’m actually going. Awesome. Three new costumes to make. I should get on that. soon. ish.

I think I’ve burnt my finger prints off…
but hey.
I’ve got this nifty helmet to show for it!
(haha and yeah. we use a freezer for a work station. Maybe one day I’ll show actual pictures of the workshop I share with my dad. There’s enough work space that we don’t have to use the freezer… we just do…)
