I’ve been thinking about this long enough; it’s time to throw this thing up on the internets!
Animorphs Motorcycle Club AU, because Sons of Anarchy.
(aka don’t read one while watching the other.)
The Yeerks and Andalites are competiting nation-wide motorcycle clubs. The fighting started out as small things and eventually exploded into a much larger much more deadly war; both groups are one-percenters after all.
As part of the war between the gangs, the Yeerks have absorbed a number of smaller gangs in Andalite territory. Two of these gangs are the Hork-Bajir and the Taxxons; one known for hitman tactics and the other known for drug dealing. The Andalites are less than pleased with this, especially since the Hork-Bajir had turned down a their offer.
On the Yeerk side of things, each chapter of the club is run by a “Visser” and his second command is generally nicknamed a “sub-visser”, although it’s not an official title (sometimes the wife of a Visser gets that title, even if she’s not officially part of the club). Victor Trent has just taken over as the Visser of the third chapter as the previous Visser has moved on to become the National President (aka Visser One).
Visser One being Eva Mendez, a recent divorcee leaving her family behind in the hopes that her son won’t follow in her footsteps. (hahahahahahaha)
Of course, with a new Visser in charge, the Andalites think that this is the perfect time to move into Yeerk territory and Alan Fangor takes up the challenge. He moves his family (Tobias, Loren, and his younger brother Phillip aka “Ax”) to the town to set up shop.
Marco, upset about his mother’s abandonment, decides that going prospect for a rival gang is a good idea and convinces his best friend Jake to come with him. Jake believes that if he gets into the life he can grow closer with his older brother once more, as Tom is a member of the Yeerks and has become distant and hard to relate to since joining. He doesn’t quite realize the level to which the Yeerks and Andalites are enemies.
They have barely been prospects for a week when Rachel gets tired of Cassie worrying about her boyfriend(s? I like that threesome) and follows them to Fangor’s Garage. She may tease and mock the boys about being prospects, but she’s actually really pissed that the Andalites have a strict no-women rule.
Unfortunately Trent is a lot more vicious than Eva ever was, and doesn’t sit idly by while the Andalites try to recruit from his town. The Fangor Garage is torched, Alan killed, Loren blinded, and the boys are out of a home. They can’t stay with Jake or Marco because of their family ties to the Yeerks, so they wind up setting up a small camp at the edge of Cassie’s family farm.
With Rachel’s help and encouragement, the two boys steal bikes from a Yeerk clubhouse and start sabotaguing everything they can get their hands on. Jake gets pulled back in after Rachel and Tobias almost get killed trying to sabotage one of Chapman’s deals, with Marco jumping onto the bandwagon as soon as he realizes there is one to jump on.
Cassie, while not an active member of their pseudo-gang, helps to take care of the bikes as well as hide them in the almost unused barn on her property.
The Yeerks start calling the kids “Andalite Bandits” as there is no official Andalite chapter in the town.
Then other stuff happens that I haven’t thought about, such as Rachel and Tobias getting together, and finding out that as long as Trent is in charge of the third chapter the Andalites won’t be attempting to set up another chapter in town and so on and so forth.
