The edmonton parkour group lost it’s original domain EDPK.com in 2008, some yahoo bought it out from under us when the domain expired and we forgot to renew. They put up a page and haven’t updated it since, but they refuse to sell it back to us.
wow that is really shitty. Makes me think they’ve got it set up as a parked domain and are making money off of every click through to the site.

UGH I hate people who own fandom domains and don’t do anything with them.
the worst part about this is that if you go to narutofic.com, it acts like the url doesn’t exist, and (depending on the browser) either brings up a blank page, redirects to a search engine, or asks if you meant narutofic.org. I go to certain registrars and they tell me the name is free— but the moment I try to register it, whoops sorry, it’s actually still registered!
I’ve got… I dunno, four or five different free monitoring services going to let me know when the registration lapses. Crossing my fingers that it’ll happen soon.

Of COURSE there’s an Animorphs fandom. It is filled with beautiful and wonderful people, who ship Yeerks and liveblog reading Homestuck. They also compare themselves to the Avengers, and have a hell of a time pretending it’s all one big crazy ARG whenever aliens come up and Tom or Zach are around… or at least that’s our corner of it, anyways.
Good or bad?

I could hypothetically, but I get off work saturday at 6 am, and then i work on sunday at 8 PM. and I live in Edmonton and don’t have a car. So I could come, but it’d mean not sleeping for like 2 days and only being able to go to the con for one.
