Collar is not actually attached yet. Once it is all that remains is trim and detailing.

This skirt is so PUFFY.
every time I leave it somewhere and catch a glimpse of it out of the corner of my eye, I keep thinking it’s Ranger come to bug me XD
1700+ yards of black thread
25 yards of ruffles (10 yards black, 15 yards houndstooth)
six yards of black tulle
thirty-ish bent pins
20-some odd broken pins
two broken needles
one bent needle
one palm torn to shreds by a ridonk number of pins
and all that’s left now is to put the zipper into the skirt.
Card Captor Narukami’s dress is just about complete.
Narukami’s super puffy sleeves are attached! The dress is edging closer and closer to completion.
I was about to put the sleeve band on, but then it occurred to me that toxicure really needs to try it on to make sure I haven’t made the opening too small. I have the right measurements and all, but considering the number of times I’ve done that on the sleeves of my own outfits… better let her try it.
Not right now though. Gonna finish the underskirt first so we can kill two birds.
Alright, another nine yards of ruffles completed! I have also sewn together the strips for the final set of ruffles, cut the interfacing to the right size for them, AND found the pattern for the sleeves! It was under my computer for some reason.
