My brother’s dog was having problems opening his eyes this morning, so my brother insisted that we (or rather: mom) take him to the vet because he was working and couldn’t.

Turns out that they think Ranger has a disease called “Pannus”; it’s a non-contagious disease common to German Shepherds (I think that’s the one he said) and Border Collie crosses. UV light makes it worse, so if Ranger does have this disease he will both have to have eyedrop medication for the rest of his life AND wear doggie sunglasses. 

He’s going to be a Cool Dog for medical reasons.
