So my players are trying to track down the ship of a slaver who’s been using a charity organization as a cover for his criminal activities. They know the name of the ship but not anything else, so to try and find it they go to the registrar at the port, the medieval DMV if you will. They’re speaking to the receptionist.
Ranger: Hello ma’am, I’m looking for my ship.
Receptionist: Y-your ship? Was it stolen?
Ranger: …Yes.
DM (Me): Roll bluff.
(Ranger fails his check)
Receptionist: Rrrrright. Take it up with the town guard. Next.
Sorcerer (OOC): Hold on, let me try.
DM: Okay, what do you say to her?
Sorcerer: Hello ma’am, I’m looking for my ship.
Receptionist: I’m gonna have to ask you boys to leave.
