After playing “guess the applicant’s age” with my coworkers (and finding out she was far younger than anyone thought), I made a crack about how peoplr always assume I’m younger than I am.
“Oh you look young because you are young.”
I shrugged, “I’ll be 28 in October.”
“WHAT? I thought you were 22 or 23!” exclaims the coworker who had been standing beside me not three hours before when I said to one of the managers that it had been ten years since I’d been in highschool.
